MEET
Dr. Zachary Skabelund
Dr. Skabelund loves doing orthodontics. He wakes up excited each day to come to work and see the transformation in patient’s smiles and loves to help patients feel better about themselves.
Outside of work, Dr. Skabelund is a dad to two young girls who he loves to spend time with. He loves to stay active – going to the gym and playing as much basketball as possible. While living in Chicago, his love for basketball combined with the local culture influenced him to become somewhat of a sneakerhead – and spend too much time and money adding to his sneaker collection.
He likes all kinds of animals and loves to keep fish tanks. He is also a music fan who loves to go see live music.
MEET
Dr. Lamont Jacobs
Dr. Jacobs has been in Orthodontic practice for over 25 years. He has been a provider for Invisalign since 1999 and earned Elite Provider status in 2010 and Platinum Provider status in 2018. He has achieved the highest level of clinical training and experience with the Invisalign System.
Dr. Jacobs graduated from The Ohio State University and earned his Orthodontic degree in 1988. Dr. Monty is also very involved with the community. He and his wife Jane have been rehabing homes in Hamilton as an effort to improve their community. Dr. Jacobs is a past President, and current Treasurer of the Keely Dental Society, an organization committed to providing dental care to underprivileged children. Dr. Jacobs is a very skilled woodworker; some of the furniture that he made has been exhibited at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts. When you are reclining in our chairs you can experience his work for yourself. He has beautiful carvings above each chair.
No ball and stick games here, Dr. Monty is an "S" sport guy. Soccer, skiing, and yes even skateboarding! An orthodontist that shreds? Yeah, he's strictly old school. He was co-captain of the OSU ski team in 84' and 85'. Now he only snow boards and he still plays soccer at least twice a week. Dr. Jacobs was on the first soccer team at Fairfield High School (class of 1978). You can see him battle the Varsity Soccer team at the annual alumni game.
